Q. Should I make a reservation?
A. Yes! We take a maximum of 16 people on each tour. You definitely want to secure a spot for the tour as early as possible.
Q. What forms of payment do you take?
A. All payments are processed through PayPal.* If you do not have an account, you can still check out as a guest.
Q. How long do the tours last?
A. Our Savor The Flavors of Stillwater Tour is approximately 3 hours , and the Bloody Mary Brunch is approximately 2.5 hours long.
Q. Where does the tour meet?
A. We will meet at the Gazebo in Lowell Park, downtown Stillwater unless we let you know of a different meeting place.

Q. When are the tours offered?
A."Savor the Flavors of Stillwater" Tour is held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:30 AM and Saturday afternoons at 1:30PM. During the winter months, we will hold tours on Saturdays at 1:30. "Bloody Mary Brunch" Tour is held on Saturday mornings at 10:15 AM as interest dictates.
Q. How do I sign up for the tour?
A. On our website under the tab "Reservations" you will be able to choose the tour you want along with the date and time. All payments are processed through PayPal. ****If you do not have a PayPal account, you can still check out through PayPal as a guest. Q. What restaurants do you visit?
A. On the "Savor the Flavors of Stillwater" Tour you visit a variety of local eateries, culinary landmarks, restaurants and bakeries. Each stop is essential to understanding the evolution of food in Stillwater and why it is so unique. The "Bloody Mary Brunch" Tour takes you to several of Stillwater's local watering holes as well as restaurants with great breakfasty fare.
Q. Should I Tip the Tour Guides?
A.Tour Guide Gratuities are greatly appreciated. Gratuities are not included in the price of the tour. To make it easy for our participants, your tour guides will tip the servers at the restaurants you visit. If you enjoyed your experience, please be sure to take care of your tour guide accordingly. An industry standard of 15% – 20% (approx. $8 to $10) gratuity of the full price of the tour before discounts will be much appreciated. Occasionally, two tour guides will be guiding the group—we do not expect tips for both, a tip for one guide would be more than appreciated!
Q. Where should I park?
A. We would suggest parking at LOT 11 which is The Stillwater Parking Ramp. The cost is $3 per day M-Thurs, and $5 per day weekends. Lots in town are limited to 4 hours, and they do ticket. This map will also help you with finding our meeting place.There are several places to park near our starting location. Please choose a spot that has 4 hour parking. Q. Is it a full meal?
A. You will receive hearty Tapas-sized portions at most locations which will add up to be enough for a meal for most over a span of 2.5 to 3 hours.
Q. What if I have dietary restrictions?
A. BECAUSE OF THE NATURE OF OUR TOURS OUR RESTAURANT PARTNERS ARE UNABLE TO MAKE SUBSTITUTIONS FOR DIETARY ADVERSITIES! THERE IS A SURCHARGE OF $5, TO ACCOMMODATE FOR FOOD ALLERGIES! PLEASE LET US KNOW WHAT ALLERGIES YOU HAVE WHEN YOU BOOK YOUR TOUR SO WE CAN LET OUR RESTAURANT PARTNERS KNOW
Q. How much walking is involved?
A. The restaurants are all within 6 blocks of each other. At most you will cover a mile in the 2.5 to 3 hour time limit.
Q. Does the price include food or is that extra?
A. The price includes hearty tapas-sized plates with beverage pairings (soft drinks, wine, beer, cocktail options) and samples from various locations on all of our tours. Our tours focus on food first, then education!
Q. Can I shop on the tour?
A. We ask that, in respect to other tour participants, you limit your shopping to the specialty shops that we stop at. After the tour, please feel free to shop at any of the venues included on the tour along with any of our advertisers and explore Stillwater further!
Q. What is your rain policy?
A. We hold our tours rain or shine! We will have a few umbrellas available for your use during the tour if needed.
Q. What is your cancellation policy?
A. Once purchased, tickets are nonrefundable and cannot be rescheduled, as they guarantee your spot on the tour.
Q. Are gift certificates available?
A. Yes, Foodies On Foot Gift Certificates are available. You can purchase any amount under the "Reservations" tab. Choose "Gift Certificates" in the drop-down menu on the reservation page calendar. Then please go to January 31, 2013 and you will be able to make your purchase through Pay Pal. And remember, if you don't have an account, you can still purchase as a guest!
Q. Can I book a private group tour?
A. Yes, private tours are available for $720 for our "Savor The Flavors" tour (Limited to 12 people). Any additional participants up to 15 total are welcomed at the cost of $60 each. To set up or learn more, please submit a Private Group Tour Request via email at FoodiesOnFootMN@gmail.com. We will respond within 24 hours.
